Position summary

Reporting to, and partnering closely with, our Chief People Officer, our Senior Manager of People Operations will own, build and maintain our HR systems, policies and processes to ensure Deputy provides a world-class employee experience. This new Deputee will love the details and enjoy the challenge of unifying our global team (U.S., Sydney, London & Philippines) by optimizing systems and driving key projects. This position requires the ability to think strategically, but also an enthusiasm for “rolling up your sleeves” and executing tactically.

What you'll do

  • Optimize and maintain all of Deputy’s people technology systems and tools including our HRIS (BambooHR), onboarding (Litmos), performance management (Lattice), and employee engagement (CultureAmp). 
  • Ensure HR data integrity.
  • Partner closely with finance to ensure payroll data is accurate.  
  • Own the development and rollout of People & Culture related policies.
  • Assist in the execution of organizational development initiatives such as performance management planning and procedures, compensation reviews, feedback surveys, etc. 
  • Manage Deputy’s global mobility program.
  • Manage a team (initially one team member). 

Skills and experience

  • 7+ years of HR program management and operations experience in a high-speed, global technology company.
  • A love of thinking about and executing on the details.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to translate vision into action. 
  • Strong knowledge of HR practices including onboarding, performance management, compensation, benefits and immigration.
  • Experience working across different time zones and geographies.
  • Ability to write clear, concise and engaging employee communications.
  • Must be humble, results-oriented, collaborative, and have a sense of humour and a strong EQ.
