About the role

As the Merchant, Strategy & Operations Manager, you’ll define merchant success in Australia.  Your north star is to exceed expectations for every merchant and this will involve you becoming an expert in the merchant space and with our offering to build new solutions.

You’ll be an innovator who will promote growth and learn where we create value for our next customer.  

What you’ll do

  • Engage – Get to the lowest level of detail and engage with merchants to learn their needs
  • Strategise - Devise the overall merchant org strategy for providing a best-in-class experience by putting the merchant first
  • Lead - Drive results from your team and cross-functional business partners to meet the needs of the merchant
  • Experiment – Use data and speed to find the best path forward and quantify the impact of each initiative to drive prioritisation 
  • Influence – Manage your team and cross-functional partners to improve the merchant experience and achieve targets
About you

We’re excited about you because you have

  • Mid-level experience in strategy and operations, business development, operations, or consulting; high-growth startup or sales ops experience is preferred 
  • A proven track record of leading cross-functional initiatives, hitting goals, and succeeding in a complex and fast-moving environment
  • An analytical mindset and can deliver actionable recommendations out of complex datasets; advanced SQL experience is definitely preferred and any Salesforce exposure would be a bonus
