We’re looking for a full-time, permanent addition to our Sales team. Reporting to our Sales Director, you will be responsible for leading our inbound Sales Development Team.

The successful applicant will lead a team of 8+ inbound SDRs across APAC - soon to double in size in 2021!

Acting as part of the sales leadership team, you'll be joining a highly motivated team that is primarily responsible for converting SMEs to our disruptive HR/FinTech platform, and generating new sales opportunities across our product suite.

70% of your time will be spent on management and strategy. You'll also do some selling to set the pace and lead by example. This is an amazing opportunity to really develop your sales career whilst supporting and learning from the sales team.

This position is based in our Sydney CBD hub on Kent Street (near Town Hall station).

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive performance of the sales team; ensure individual and team sales targets are consistently exceeded.
  • Manage performance of direct reports through regular 1:1 meetings.
  • Lead from the front by personally qualifying leads and setting product demonstration appointments.
  • Identify markets, lead sources and strategies for target call lists.
  • Report on data and trends to highlight opportunities for strategic sales advancement.
  • Leverage sales automation, funnel management and prospecting tools to generate SQLs.
  • Work cross-functionally with Implementations, Marketing, and Commercial Operations.
  • Perform outbound calling and deliver email campaigns into targeted businesses to prospect, educate, and qualify leads, creating sales-ready opportunities.

Requirements

  • Sales management experience.
  • 2-5 years of proven, high-volume sales experience (B2B) with a track record of over-achieving on targets.
  • SaaS experience highly desirable.
  • Experience selling to SMEs in a high-velocity sales environment.
  • Experience selling to C-Level executives at the SMB or mid-market level.
  • Ideally 2-3 years of experience running and leading a sales team.
  • Analytical thinking skills with a natural interest for all aspects of data, analysis and excel.
  • Experience driving rigorous sales development execution, including KPI management (hourly/daily metrics), forecasting, and pipeline management.
