About the role

As the first member of the sales team at Q-CTRL, the Senior Sales Manager will be in charge of developing the strategic sales plan and structure based on the company's growth goals. 50% of your role will be focusing on network and partnerships, 30% on strategy and 20% on sales operations. 

What you'll do

  • Own and lead Q-CTRL’s go to market strategy for all products and services (including the Implementation of a sales structure and defining sales quotas).
  • Own all existing strategic partners and accounts
  • Prospect and manage long term strategic opportunities in key target sectors
  • Provide sales leadership to qualify, create value for customers & progress sales opportunities to closure for  marketing, product and technical sales teams
  • Work with the marketing team to strategise on creating lead generating channels with key target markets
  • Own and manage a pipeline of inbound and self-sourced leads to identify, research, engage, and qualify leads into opportunities for the technical sales team
  • Own and administer Salesforce for the sales team; track all opportunity and customer details including use case, purchase time frames and next steps.
  • Optimize leads and opportunity pipelines
  • Create and analyse sales metrics for the go-to-market team

We would love to hear from you if you have

  • At least 8 years in B2B sales, preferably in the SaaS industry.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills along with excellent verbal and written communications
  • Advanced user skills on Salesforce Sales Cloud
  • A BS/BA degree or equivalent in relevant sales experience
  • Are willing and able to travel as necessary
  • A passion for deep tech and all things quantum
  • Strong moral values. You understand that establishing business partnerships can take a long time and you are not in it to make a quick buck.
