What's involved...

  • Maintain the quality and retouch all outgoing images
  • Partner with our teams to develop THE ICONIC’s visual brand identity and take an active role to ideate concepts with the team, working with creative leads and external stakeholders through all design stages from initial brief, iterations to delivery.
  • Deliver multi-platform assets across all platforms (ranging from web, app, social and print, to large-scale designs for interiors and events).
  • Ensure all assets fall within publication and company style guides and standards. Assist in the development of systems, policies and strategies, which support the graphics team in producing work of superior quality.

About you... 

  • Excellent time and project management skills.
  • An exceptional and meticulous eye for, and attention to, detail.
  • An ability to multitask and problem solve autonomously and resiliently.
  • A strong portfolio of work, focusing on fashion and beauty, with exceptional executional skills, and 6 years experience as a Finishing Artist/Retoucher.
  • Proficiency in Adobe CS (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
  • Ability to think creatively and ensure all images meet the standards required.
  • Confident and collaborative approach to concept work and ideation.
  • Deadline-focused, especially when under pressure.
  • Excellent communication skills; you can explain something to a non-artist quickly and with patience.
  • Exposure to social media projects is highly desirable.
  • An enthusiastic attitude and a genuine love of our brand.
  • An innate digital- and mobile-first approach to creating content.

This role is usually based in Sydney CBD with great transport, shopping and food districts all within close distance to Hyde Park for those who enjoy lunchtime exercise or just some fresh air! Health and Wellbeing is extremely important to THE ICONIC, so interviewing and onboarding for this role will be conducted virtually due to COVID-19 and this role will temporarily work from home until further notice.
