About the team;

The Customer Operations team provides global leadership across all operations and project management within the Customer and Go To Market function. Due to the great work and support they have been delivering the team continues to be in demand, therefore looking for their next team member to join the team.

About the role;

This role will be working on projects leading global cross-functional teams, across different regions and time-zones. Successful project delivery will help Xero achieve our long term objectives.

Some of the things you’ll do;

  • Scope, manage and execute projects that align with Xero’s Customer priorities 
  • Plan, to a detailed level,  projects from inception to go-live.
  • Identify critical dates in the plan
  • Track, manage and report status on all projects
  • Identify resources required to deliver the project and any resource gaps if any
  • Raise risks and issues plus the effective management of them
  • Manage stakeholders for the project with effective levels of engagement
  • Collaborate with other project managers where there are project dependencies
  • Effective management of any project budget 
  • Resolve problems and roadblocks with the ability to analyse options

What you’ll bring with you;

  • Well developed commercial experience, exposure to high growth technology environment a bonus
  • Agile and Lean Project Management experience
  • Experience in working across multiple disciplines and teams in global organisations
  • Experience working with senior executive teams
  • Ability to balance customer focus with commercial business outcomes
  • Program and Project Management experience
  • Approach problems with a rigorous quantitative and strategic mindset
  • Apply design thinking to facilitate problem definition and solution
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail, and ability to communicate complex details simply
  • Build and manage cohesive cross-functional teams 
  • Relationship management – developing relationships with key stakeholders 
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to work flexibly, sometimes at unconventional times
