At Airwallex we focus on honing our product engineering craft in order to support the exponential growth of our business. As a Frontend Engineer you will be responsible for working on a range of exciting initiatives across our international payments platform.
As a Front-end Developer you will be delivering business outcomes not just product features. You will be working cross functionally building the front end to our backend microservices architecture and will work directly with engineers, product managers and designers to ensure our software and practices are of the highest quality. Your strong user experience focus will see you delivering high quality front end experiences as well as contributing to the frontend architecture design.
Skills and experience you will bring
- Ability to produce well structured HTML utilising efficient CSS.
- A solid understanding of the latest web technologies.
- Solid understanding of how to build testable, decoupled, maintainable code and other engineering best practices.
- Understanding of integration technologies: RESTful APIs, JSON/XML and Structured Logging.
- Experience with version control, preferably Git.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Willingness to learn and apply new methodologies as required.
