We are seeking a Business Development Manager to join our Business Development team. The Business Development team is responsible for driving and developing relationships with pharmaceutical, biotechnology and other clinical trial sponsors.

As a Business Development Manager you will provide operational support and contribute to the planning and execution of HealthMatch’s business development strategy.

You will be responsible for

  • Intelligently research, identify, prioritise and track new customer leads and corporate opportunities
  • Preparation of pitch documentation decks and deal process assets 
  • Customer pipeline management, reporting, tracking and recording activity  
  • Analysing and formulating commercial agreement structures
  • Assisting with new market and expansion research
  • Actively contribute and consult on longer-term strategic sales direction
  • Work with senior leadership to define strategic requirements for partnership opportunities, determine capability or operational fit with existing strategy, develop, nurture, and manage partnership pipeline
  • Working closely with other HealthMatch teams to facilitate customer success

Desired qualifications / experience

  • 2+ years experience at an investment bank, top-tier law firm or management consultancy
  • Bonus: previous experience working in or with the medical & pharmaceutical industry
  • Demonstrated track record of managing and closing transactions
  • Ability to travel
