The role

As a Deputy Mid Market Sales Executive, you will identify and qualify new opportunities to sell our core business applications and related services into organisations in Australia.

 

What you'll do 

  • Identify, research and create new business opportunities through phone and face to face meetings
  • Conduct discovery meetings to determine a fit for Deputy solutions and capabilities
  • Manage the entire sales process through to closure including presentations, demonstrations, proposals, proof of concepts, contracts and negotiations
  • Engage appropriate shared resources at the right time to progress opportunities through to closure
  • Do what you say you will with customers and Deputy employees
  • Be respectful of Deputy shared resource commitments and priorities
  • Be flexible and adaptive to assist in non core functions for the greater good of Deputy
  • Maintain opportunity information in the sales tools provided
  • Forecast deal value and expected close dates accurately
  • Always present the company in a professional manner
  • Become a subject matter expert on Workforce management challenges and Deputy product capabilities
  • Uphold Deputy behaviours and values at all times

"The How"

  • 4+ years experience in new Business Development in the IT Sector/SaaS Space
  • Experience selling software solutions into complex environments
  • Proven track record of IT/SaaS sales (meeting and exceeding targets)
  • Proven ability to build a qualified sales pipeline
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
