The Opportunity

Culture Amp is looking for an exceptional engineering lead to be at the helm of one of our 5 camps; “Act”. This exciting new role is leading the mission of helping companies truly take action on the insights they gain from our platform. This is innovative ground-breaking work that is transforming the world of work.


What you’ll be doing

In this role you’ll have the responsibility of autonomously leading our Act Camp from an engineering perspective. This involves:

  • Providing visibility on Camp vision, OKR goals and architectural direction
  • Making decisions on team structures and missions inside of the Act camp, allowing for most effective outcomes
  • Identifying hiring and training needs and collaborating with practice leads to fulfil these
  • Being a technical expert and visionary who can help navigate complex challenges
  • Coaching and helping tech leads and team members

What you need to be successful

  • Strong technical skills. You realise technology is just a tool and can think of more than one solution to any given technical problem. You have opinions but don’t hold on to them so tightly that you appear inflexible.
  • Communication and influencing. You can engage and collaborate with a diverse group of people to achieve shared understanding and vision.
  • Passion for hiring. You care about bringing the right talent into the organisation and are determined to reduce diversity debt.
  • Autonomy and self-direction. You are able to make good decisions about what you spend your time doing.
