This EA role is to support the founders with day to day business requests ensuring they are delivering the objectives, vision and strategy of the company.

 

You will provide outstanding time management skills to maximise time and opportunities in both their professional and personal life.

 

This role is for a highly organised, proactive, forward thinking individual who is able to juggle many projects at one time and respond to daily changes within the business.

 

Responsibilities

  • Proactive and forward-thinking calendar management for both Founders.
  • Booking International travel and accommodation and managing visas
  • Organising and managing cadences for internal meetings ensuring agendas and purpose is clear.
  • Managing inbox and LinkedIn filtering requests as required
  • Producing presentations, draft email communications, and other internal/external comms
  • Booking personal and business appointments
  • Liaise with the broader Canva team to pull together information for presentations and reports.
  • Manage key founder-led projects and initiatives
  • Carry out personal tasks as required (appointment, home utilities, bills etc)
  • Act as gatekeeper where required and manage requests appropriately
  • Process travel and expense claims with finance
  • Act as a communication link between internal and external parties
  • Provide ad-hoc support to the leadership team

Other responsibilities

  • Working with the Program Manager on seasonal planning and events
  • Partner with Canva University to support external and internal events

Requirements

  • 3+ years as an EA or PA or be able to demonstrate transferable skills
  • IT skills including Google suite, Canva, Zoom, Slack, Level, Mailchimp
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure
  • Maintain confidentiality
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Accurate minute taking and follow up of action items
  • Self-motivated, pro-active and able to use initiative
  • Co-operative, flexible, adaptable and supportive team player
  • Take responsibility for your own learning and development, maintaining and improving knowledge of the EA/PA industry.
