The Team

The People Team’s mission is to make Canva the best place in the world to work! We’re a fast moving business so change is frequent, you’ll be comfortable working in a hands on, dynamic environment and have excellent communication skills.


What you'll do:

  • Provide advice and support to our employees from pre-employment through to offboarding.
  • Own the onboarding program and coordinate with various stakeholders to ensure new hires are set up for success.
  • Coordinate with our external providers in matters relating to employment law, visas and immigration, and relocation.
  • Ensure employee data is kept up-to-date and accurate within our HR system.
  • Support people development programs at Canva which includes regular learning events.
  • Utilise data effectively to uncover useful insights and provide recommendations.
  • Contribute to the development of people policies in line with best practices and national laws.
  • Maintain our centralised knowledge base, updating and improving our HR pages to keep information up-to-date and relevant, and helping our employees help themselves.
  • Assist with a wide range of projects that make Canva a great place to work.
  • Work with our global teams to ensure alignment across our offices.
  • Drive operational excellence, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes.
  • Maintain and protect confidential data with great discretion.
