The Role

The Assembly Payments Inside Sales Rep will help small to medium size retailers, cafes, bars and restaurants understand more about our payment solutions, collect their details and work closely with the POS BDM to sign on clients.  The inside sales rep will play a critical role in providing valuable pipeline insights to the Assembly leadership team.

 

Responsibilities will Include:

  • Explaining our products to Prospects
  • Engaging in consultative selling sales tactics and needs based selling assisting prospects with value based solutions.
  • Building relationships with prospects and stakeholders to look for new opportunities and grow new business.
  • Converting leads, manage pipeline and deliver accurate forecasts using SalesForce CRM.
  • Working closely with our referrers and talented BDM team
  • Follow up on highly qualified inbound leads resulting from our strong referral network.
  • Collaborating with all departments to implement and execute our sales strategy
  • As a visible team player within the business, bring best in class thinking, strategies and ideas that align to our company values, unique culture and vision for the future.

To be successful you will have the following:

  • B.A. or B.Sc. Degree
  • Experience working in the Banking sector specifically in Merchant and Transaction Account sales including B2B sales experience
  • Demonstrated success exceeding new business quota
  • Passion for the sales lifecycle with structured time management and activity management behaviours
  • A passion for the high-growth startup environment
  • Self-starter, emotionally intelligent, motivated hunter with a work hard/play hard work ethic
  • Superior communications skills, well rounded in all aspects of business development methodology
  • Experience with SFDC
