The opportunity at Culture Amp

We’re looking for a UX Designer to lead our Understand Camp (tribe). This Camp's mission is empowering organisations to understand employee feedback in order to drive positive behavioural change. • Lead design across the Camp’s multiple cross-functional teams
  • Mentor and grow other designers
  • Collaborate with the Camp Leadership team to define the Understand Camp’s vision and strategy
  • Identify hiring needs across the Camp
  • Contribute to the broader design practice

  • Experience working collaboratively with PMs and engineers to deliver end-to-end product design, from ideation to production.
  • Comfortable leading a variety of user research activities
  • Experience managing and developing designers
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, startup environment

A quick note on portfolios

To be considered for this role, a solid portfolio of design work is required to be submitted via our application form. Your portfolio gives you a chance to showcase the best of what you can do, so make the most of the opportunity to impress. Tell us a story. Walk us through the life of several projects from start to finish, outlining your role, the problems you were asked to solve, how you went about solving them and the outcomes you delivered (preferably with data). Help us get into your brain.

If you want to see some examples of well thought out portfolios, mosey on down to the case studies of Simon Pan (Google, Uber, Medium) and Alan Shen (TBWA\Chiat\Day).
