You will hunt into small to medium businesses by selling a truly innovating and impressive product. We work successfully with organisations across the building, construction, architectural, property, finance, insurance, engineering and utility industries, to name a few! We also partner extensively with local, state and federal governments throughout Australia.


A typical day for you may look like this…

  • Identifying and calling new client opportunities to sell Nearmap products
  • Leverage our extensive leads database whilst also adding to the database through individual prospecting
  • The ability to prospect new business and run the entire sale cycle
  • Build and maintain contacts with prospective customers to secure new business opportunities
  • Closing new business primarily over the phone
  • Achieving weekly, monthly and quarterly revenue targets
  • Making minimum number of outbound calls per day
  • Responding to inbound web enquiries and increase revenue by matching client needs with the suite of products
  • Successfully managing the sales process: qualifying customer needs and budget, presenting appropriate solutions, negotiating and closing new business
  • Ensuring accuracy of data use and entry into CRM (Salesforce)

AND…to smash this role you'll need….

  • 4 years + experience in an outbound sales role (preferably subscription based)
  • Ninja like reflexes to handle unexpected events
  • CRM systems experience and a KPI high-flier
  • Energy and enthusiasm that can be felt through the phone
  • A knack for negotiating and communicating
