To bring Koala’s concepts and designs to life by driving the sourcing, sampling, negotiation, costings and production processes. Work cross functionally to bring to market well thought out, high quality products within budget and on time.


What key responsibilities does this role have @ Koala?

  • Assist in the development of a strategic supplier network to support future growth
  • Develop and maintain key relationships with suppliers and external stakeholders
  • Work closely with design, marketing and operational teams to deliver new products to market
  • Manage the timeline from specification sheet or product concept to product launch, ensuring projects remain on track and delivered within deadlines
  • Own the cost of goods throughout the sampling phase, liaise with designers to ensure costs remain within target
  • Coordinate all aspects of sampling from specification sheet or product concept to golden sample. Including supplier communication, payments and shipping
  • Ensure adequate due diligence is conducted on suppliers including factory audits and QC
  • Act as a product subject matter expert within the business

Ideal background…

  • Degree qualified in product management, business or relevant qualification
  • 5+ years in a similar role with physical goods
  • Ability to understand the big picture and prioritise competing considerations
  • High-level attention to detail with an ability
  • Passionate about building products people love to use
  • Awesome at Excel
