We are looking for a high-performing Sales Development Representative to help with the lead qualification process, which allows account executives to focus on closing deals. The Sales Development Representative is responsible for outbound prospecting. The world of an SDR revolves around lead generation and moving MQL through the sales pipeline.

 

You will be part of the global sales team focused on following a repeatable sales process and be the first point of contact to drive sales volumes which helps the business position itself for hyper growth and solidify a unique differentiated position in the application security space.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategise with Sales on which companies to target
  • Find the relevant contacts within those companies and reach out via email, LinkedIn and phone
  • Build up connections and educate your target audience on secure coding excellence
  • Qualify prospects & set up meetings for sales
  • Collaborate with Marketing to ensure a constant flow of quality leads
  • Maintain accurate opportunity information and customer intelligence within salesforce  Work towards a monthly sales target
  • Educate prospects on the value of our solution
  • Keep Salesforce CRM 100% up-to-date to enable accurate forecasting

About You

  • Track record within a sales prospecting position for a technology company, preferably within a SaaS environment
  • You have a passion for awesome customer experience and a strong ability to balance customer needs and business priorities.
  • You thrive on researching and learning about the customers business so you can educate them on how to solve their problems.
  • You are a hunter, door opener, cold caller and networker
  • You are curious and a continuous learner. and love to take the time to research and provide insights to truly help your customer based on what you have found resonated with similar customer profiles in the past
  • You understanding the SCW product and value it delivers and are able to effectively demonstrate this to customers and partners.
  • Highly organised with an ability to plan and prioritise your day effectively
  • Always prepared - targeting prospects that you have identified could benefit from the platform.
  • Exceptional communication skills to handle any common objectives you receive in a customer centric way.

We do not have any 9 to 5 working hours and we do give you a lot of freedom, but we require that you take up accountability, be a team player and deliver with quality and security in min
