Branch is changing mobile as we know it. The team works to bring market-changing products to the world’s most innovative companies. Sales Development is all about generating lead volume for our Account Executives while helping marketers and developers understand the many ways in which Branch can improve their company’s success.

 

As a Sales Development Rep at Branch, you’ll prospect and identify key decision-makers at target companies and lay the foundation for a strong relationship in Australia and New Zealand. You should be eager to advance in our organisation by demonstrating their ability to be tenacious self-starters every day. You understand the sales process, can build relationships with the right decision-makers, and can succinctly define and communicate the specific benefits of Branch appropriate for each user. You will be a key driver of growth for the company, and on the front lines for evangelising our product to prospective and existing users.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct outbound calls and send outreach emails daily in order to prospect, educate, thoroughly qualify, and develop target accounts
  • Responsible for building sales pipeline by meeting and exceeding lead generation quotas
  • Research accounts, identify decision makers, generate interest and develop relationships with important stakeholders
  • Create and prioritise strategic target account lists within a defined territory (through emailing, strategic calling, social selling, etc.)
  • Immaculate salesforce.com hygiene to ensure efficient lead management and record-keeping to create and maintain data integrity
  • Provide feedback to ensure continuous process optimisation
  • Partner closely with account executives to build and iterate on strategies
  • Consistently meet and drive to exceed month-to-month quotas and metrics

We’re Looking for Someone With:

  • 1-3 years of experience in lead generation, sales, and/or marketing
  • Ability to understand customer needs and meet that need with a successful product sale
  • Good time-management with strong organisational skills
  • Ability to understand the Branch SDK and its technology
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving, team environment
  • Excellent written/verbal communication skills
  • Motivation, drive and a self-starter attitude
  • A university degree

Nice to Haves:

  • Enterprise prospecting experience a plus
  • Prior experience at a growth stage Internet and/or SAAS software company
  • Experience working with Salesforce and/or other sales prospecting tools
