Real-time, real accurate data has the potential to revolutionise mining, construction, and civil engineering. Cloud computing and drone surveying can make that worksite data accessible and useable for the people who need it to improve safety, report accurately, boost collaboration and efficiency, and shave days or weeks off typical workflows.
We’re the technology company that’s already making that happen.
At Propeller Aero, we work every day to improve how worksites are managed around the world. We close the information gap between a physical worksite and the people who manage it. We believe everyone should be able to measure and manage their worksite themselves.
Our high performing team puts the power of drone imagery into a user-friendly toolkit. We do this through our 3D, cloud-based platform, where sophisticated engineering and photogrammetry meets intuitive design and simple workflows. Supported by our engineering team and hardware, we translate raw site data into readable, actionable information for our users.
Great engineering is our keystone. Without it, we couldn’t be good translators and our vision would be unworkable. It’s our practical, results-driven side. It’s the “how” of solving everyday problems. Propeller is comprised of tight-knit, decentralised teams. Our people have the freedom to approach, own, and solve problems creatively. We’re 100% about impact, and 0% about ego. Want to know what our team actually say about us? Check out our Glassdoor here.
Currently, we have more than 14,000 worksites in 120-plus countries using our products and we’re growing exponentially. Why aren’t you a part of it?
You’ll be using all the latest technologies to architect and develop tools and infrastructure to enable our developers to build and deploy our 3D platform at a global scale.
You’ll be helping Propeller transform the way worksites all over the globe use drone data. You'll play a critical role in a rapidly growing high-tech startup, solving real problems every day—and having fun while you're at it.
You’ll architect, build, and maintain our Kubernetes-based, microservice, back-end infrastructure. You’ll also be scaling both existing and new infrastructure across the world to support multiple AWS regions.
You like to improve things, so you’ll develop comprehensive monitoring solutions that enhance workload visibility and alerts when things go wrong.
You’re focused on increasing productivity through the internal developer tools you build and maintain. You’ll support the team with deployed apps and infrastructure.
Propeller’s security is important and you’ll develop tools and workflows that make best practices easier to enact.
You’ll also be learning from the team and teaching us about your unique skills—everyone brings their own personal experiences and strengths to the keyboard. We’re a small team and a small company, so expect to work closely with both the infrastructure team itself and other internal teams, like our data processing and visualisation teams, as well as our awesome hardware engineers.
We’re really proud of our Glassdoor rating and, according to our Culture Amp survey, 100% of people here would recommend us as a great place to work.
We offer employee stock options, paid parental leave, and a beautiful office with stocked kitchens in Surry Hills, not to mention the best roof deck in Sydney. We take being a good place to work pretty seriously.
Propeller is for everyone. We’re an equal opportunity employer who celebrates diversity. Your gender, age, religion, sex life, or skin colour won’t make a difference here. If you’re smart and good at what you do, come as you are.
