Our People Operations team is looking for an experienced People Operations Specialist to join our Talent Happiness team at Airtasker. The People Operations team at Airtasker takes on a product centric view of what is traditional HR. We apply a deep level of design thinking and systems thinking to over deliver on customer expectation. We design think to constantly deepen understanding of the user and the user journey. We apply systems thinking to ensure a minimum viable structure, process and systems are setup to maintain a high level of agility for the business. Most importantly we are champions of a data centric culture, promoting an objective approach to decision making. 

 

Success is defined by the progress towards the high level mission. It can be measured through:

You will be responsible for:

  • Assessing and setting up best practice systems in:
    • Employee engagement
    • HRIS
    • Learning and development
  • Evangelising the Airtasker story by ensuring:
    • Top talent is on boarded and setup for success with the right mentorship and initial goals training
    • Airtasker is a learning organisation with the right systems and incentives, which promote the Airtasker team to become masters of their craft
  • Advising senior leaders on workforce planning, succession planning, learning and development and performance initiatives
  • OKRs are aligned to our mission, vision and values
  • Setup and support appropriate feedback and recognition systems
  • Adapt the user journey as the organisation scales

Key attributes that we are looking for:

  • Experience in management consulting or human capital consulting is preferred
  • Extremely strong written, spoken and interpersonal skills
  • A deep passion for people, organisational structure and design
  • Strong understanding in what makes a high performance tech company
  • A get-stuff-done attitude
  • Outstanding analytical and organisational skills
  • Keen focus on attention to detail
