We are looking for a Sales Development specialist to join our team of foodservice industry experts to welcome and qualify all new leads looking at Kounta.

  • You have a good understanding of foodservice business and/or general business operations.

Responsibilities

  • Create an amazing first impression for all new leads looking at Kounta
  • Own the lead stage of the customer journey as we ensure Kounta is the right fit for their business
  • Develop sequences of tasks, emails, and calls to achieve contact with the customer
  • Handle inbound phone calls, emails, and chats from Customers interested in Kounta
  • Collect additional, relevant information to enrich new leads and build a complete picture of their business
  • Connect Qualified Leads and Opportunities with Business Consultants
  • Work alongside the Business Consultants team with administration and process.

Experience

  • A hospitality background would be ideal, but if you don’t have that we’ll settle for lots of passion and enthusiasm for the industry.
  • 1+ years of sales development experience; start up and/or small company experience a plus
  • 1+ years of hospitality experience is preferred
  • A ‘hunter’ mentality - comfortable prospecting, cold-calling, and following up on incoming leads and strong desire to win
  • Interest in working in a start-up, fast paced sales environment
  • Outstanding communication and listening skills
  • Ability and willingness to learn, to react to and share lessons learned across the organisation
  • Good time management with strong organisational skills
  • Understanding of e-commerce software/B2B high tech industry a plus.
