In this role you will

  • Support the Country Manager of Australia in developing and executing marketing strategies and integrated go-to-market plans
  • Manage the day-to-day logistics of project plans by owning timelines, budgets, and analysis/recaps/reports
  • Execute 360 degree marketing campaigns to tie into Tinder’s brand narrative and positioning in the Australian market
  • Map out appropriate marketing mix and make strategic recommendations on paid media mix for all campaigns
  • Analyze and optimize campaigns against brand and growth objectives
  • Manage agency relationships
  • Work cross functionally and build relationships with internal creative, PR, Business Development, Partnerships, Product, Design, and Content Teams in order to strengthen ideas and creative, and build holistic and effective campaigns
  • Draft strategic briefs and assemble presentation decks
  • Operationally support local events and partnership executions
  • Be fully knowledgeable on the Gen Z audience and stay current on the cultural calendar
  • Monitor market trends both within the dating category as well as outside to generate insights for new marketing strategies for Tinder in Australia
  • Report to the Country Manager in your market

We're looking for

  • Bachelor’s degree. MBA or Masters not essential, but a plus
  • 5-10 years of experience in marketing, creative agency, or media agency (ideally a mix of agency and client-side) with deep knowledge of consumer branding.  Comms/PR experience is a plus.
  • Digital and social media marketing experience
  • Experience working in a start-up environment is a plus
  • Passion for brand storytelling and content creation
  • Strong distributing and planning paid media and performance campaigns
  • Strong mix of creative and analytical capabilities in combination with a hands-on mentality to get things done
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment, and high comfort level with ambiguity and adapting to change
  • Organized, attentive-to-detail, and proactively takes initiative
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent project management skills and executional abilities
  • Excellent soft skills with a team player attitude
  • A deep understanding of Australian youth culture
