We are growing each day, which is why we are currently scaling our awesome product marketing team and looking to bring onboard a Growth Marketer to be part of our exciting journey.

What are we looking for? 

 
This is a newly created role for Zip, working as part of the marketing team and closely with our expert teams of Product Managers and Engineers you will focuss on growth initiates across the Zip Co group.

What your day will look like at Zip

  • You will lead lean execution of growth projects from a marketing and communications perspective – this will include ; EDM/ Push comms/ Advertising / Landing pages
  • Support the strategic marketing vision for the entire Zip business and its current and future product offerings.
  • In collaboration with BAU marketing and product teams, define the rules of engagement for growth marketing initiatives - including comms, product testing, ad placement etc
  • Execute on the marketing requirements of the growth projects with consideration of product lifecycle and marketing campaigns
  • Train and educate team members and the broader Zip organisation on “way of growth”, growth thinking and “lean marketing”
  • Keep abreast of best practices globally on product and marketing - including latest trends in EDMs, ads, product features across websites and mobile apps
  • Liaise with other marketers across product teams to coordinate marketing basics

What you need to thrive in this role

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce or Marketing related disciplines.
  • A data /analysis or engineering background would be advantageous
  • 2-3 years digital marketing experience in an agile environment (B2C start-up experience, app experience heavily favored)
  • You have a passion for marketing consumer products (side projects are appreciated)
  • Significant experience working with tracking and data analysis tools including GA, Amplitude
  • Good working knowledge of SEO, paid acquisitions, Facebook Advertising, HTML and email marketing.
  • Experience partnering with Performance Managers or working in a similar role.
  • At home in a fast-paced environment and able to move with a sense of urgency, but sensitive enough to give people space/comfort to add suggestions
